Since adding Starlink, Holland America ships have sailed through Alaska, the Mediterranean and Canada, with positive feedback from passengers and crew. Here, a HAL ship at Vancouver's Canada Place
Holland America Line is more than halfway through updating Wi-Fi to SpaceX’s Starlink across its fleet of 11 ships.

The first ship to implement the technology was Koningsdam, and now Oosterdam, Volendam, Westerdam, Zaandam and Zuiderdam all have the high-speed Internet.

Positive feedback

Since adding Starlink, the ships have sailed through Alaska, the Mediterranean and Canada with positive passenger and crew feedback, Holland America said.

'Our goal is to continue keeping all guests connected to the Internet to share their memorable experiences, and to allow our team members to stay in touch with their loved ones back home,' HAL's Kathleen Erickson, VP technology, said.

Full fleet by mid-December

The line is scheduled to have Starlink installed on its remaining five ships by mid-December.
