The 458-passenger all-suite ship, currently sailing as Seabourn Odyssey, is scheduled to debut in Yokohama Dec. 1.
Dining
The Restaurant Fuji, the ship’s namesake main restaurant, will offer authentic Japanese cuisine and international dishes.
Terrace Restaurant Hachiyo conjures up Mount Fuji's eight-peak summit known as hachiyo. This buffet restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, will serve a wide variety of global dishes in an open space with big ocean views. An omakase sushi menu will be available at night.
Hokusai Fine Dining, named after the famous artist Katsushika Hokusai who rendered many iconic Japanese scenes, will provide a prix fixe menu with the highest quality presentation, service and seasonal ingredients.
Restaurant Kohan is inspired by Mount Fuji's lakes (kohan meaning lakeside) and a spot for a fast casual meals and beverages poolside, with ocean views.
Lounges, bars, entertainment and shopping
The centrally located Mitsui Ocean Square contains the guest services desk, plenty of lounge seating and Ocean Café for walk-up teas, coffees, pastries and small bites.
Observation Bar 36 is named for Hokusai's masterpiece, 'Fugaku Sanjurokkei' (36 Views of Mount Fuji). Cruisers can take in the panoramic view before or after dinner while sipping craft cocktails inspired by the changing seasons at Mount Fuji.
Ocean Stage serves as the main showcase for music, dance, drama and special events, while Ocean Club and Bar is a smaller space for music, lectures and games.
Blackjack and roulette are available in Ocean Casino.
Ocean Boutique offers a selection of fine goods and crafts from Japan, luxury brands, jewelry, Mitsui Ocean Fuji merchandise and sundries.
Fitness/wellness and pools
At Spa & Wellness Kodama travelers can relax with massage and facial treatments, salon services and acupuncture. The Fitness Center and Motion Studio provide exercise equipment and dedicated space for yoga and Pilates.
Pool Kohan and Pool Cerulean offer peaceful places to swim and cool off in the summer, rejuvenate in the whirlpools and relax in lounge chairs. Recreation Raiko on the top deck serves as a sports area.
