The 11-night 'Secrets of Egypt & the Nile' cruise and land experience includes a seven-night roundtrip river cruise from Luxor and is paired with three nights pre- and one-night post-cruise stays in Cairo at the prestigious St. Regis, overlooking the Nile.
'Few countries grip the imagination quite like Egypt, with its massive pyramids, secret tombs, colorful markets and the majestic Nile River coursing through it all,' said Kristin Karst, co-founder and EVP of AmaWaterways. 'We now have two beautiful ships traversing the picturesque stretch of the river on a roundtrip cruise from Luxor, including two nights in Aswan.'
AmaLilia offers 41 staterooms with panoramic views, including 13 suites measuring up to 522 square feet. Amenities include a sun deck bar and swimming pool, fitness room, hair and nail salon, a massage room and two restaurants serving locally inspired cuisine.
There is nightly entertainment, and each cruises is accompanied by Egyptologists who stay on the ship and lead excursions.
AmaLilia will sail seasonally from September through June each year.
